Dani Galvez is a choreographer, performer, and movement researcher that investigates human emotions through kinesthetic response to sound. Growing up in Union City, CA, she started her dance journey in high school as a color guard member. She then pursued the art form at San Jose State University graduating with her Bachelor's of Arts in Dance. In her pursuit understand the different dialects of dance, Dani has trained in various dance genres from the Bay to LA including hip-hop, contemporary, and modern.
Her choreographic works have appeared at De Anza College, Ohlone College, James Logan High School, Lynbrook High School, and Valley Christian Schools. She has guest performed with groups including KulArts (San Francisco, CA), Public Figures Dance Company (San Jose, CA), Syndicate Dance (San Jose, CA), and Bliss Contemporary Dance Company (Fremont, CA).
Currently, Danielle is a dance mentor at On One Studios, a registered yoga instructor, director of Archive Dance Collective, a company member of SjDanceCo, and dancer on Cypher Dance Company.
