I started taking dance classes in high school for fun in an environment that prioritized jazz, modern contemporary, ballet and hip-hop. I continued on this path by honing in on urban choreography and joined the competitive dance circuit through the youth team Movement Munchers in 2010. Afterwards I transitioned into Chocolate Factory in 2011 where I remain until this day.
I am the founder of Silver Creek High School’s Kpop Club which I was president of in 2011. In the same year, SCCK was created. Silver Creek Dance Company’s annual showcase performance team continued on for a few years after I graduated. Additionally as a member of local business Embrace Event Productions, I participate in making videos that highlight my ballroom and urban choreography experience. I was a teacher at Purdance for their teens’ kpop program for one year and am now currently on my second year teaching at On One Studios. In both my cover classes as well as performance workshops I hope to continue developing a strong sense of community and fostering a sense of self-motivation and personal growth,
