OOS: How would you describe your dance style?

I’d describe my dance style as flowy, versatile, energetic and evolving. My style is influenced by multiple styles of dance which include elements from but not limited to, hip hop, house, contemporary, and jazz funk. I’m a fan of incorporating dynamic full body movement, abstract shapes, grooving and playing with different ranges of motion.

OOS: What are your dance goals as a mentor?

My goals as a mentor are to maintain a balanced and healthy dance relationship, curate a space that is encouraging and inclusive to all creative personalities, develop genuine connections, and to keep learning.

OOS: What will your students learn or experience in your class?

In these classes, students can expect ooey gooey flowy feels and movements with a serotonin boost for all levels and types of people! We will learn to loosen up along with grooves and quick combos in order to build and embrace our individuality in a safe and supportive setting. Please look forward to a balanced meal of seriousness, laughs, smiles, exploration and celebration of art within ourselves topped off with gratitude. Ultimately, we will grow together while having a fun grand ol’ time expressing our stories through movement with kind humans.
