“I’ve always loved to dance! I’ve been dancing since I was three, starting in a competitive studio background training in ballet, tap, jazz, contemporary, and hip-hop. In college I wanted to take hip hop choreo styles more seriously and the first class I took was actually at On One! I’ve trained with Commonality where I’ve met some of my best friends and have grown so much as a dancer. Being able to teach at OnOne after getting my start from this studio makes this experience so surreal and full-circle for me and I am so grateful to share my movement with the community”
Hihi
OOS: How would you describe your dance style?
I’d describe my style as “feel-good”. Coming from a contemporary background, my movement is more flowy, groovy, and full-body
OOS: What are your dance goals as a mentor?
To be a supportive role model and spread positivity with any platform I am given
OOS: What will your students learn or experience in your class?
I try to set a different intention every week so my students can take away something more impactful than a 30-second combo. Overall, I want people to come to my class to have fun and get the endorphins pumpin’ 🙂
