“My name is Sila Charukesnant, and my nickname is Poe. I started dancing back in 2012 from collegiate dance groups, eventually worked my way to teach as a career at dance studios and institutions. I was inspired by R&B music from early 2000s and the movements from Hip Hop and Street dance styles, some light experience learning contemporary, I put myself together a craft that blends the best of my worlds together. On top of being into dancing and choreographing, I love being able to share and instruct with other dancers just as much. I look forward to see you in classes, and hopefully my space could encourage and empower you!“
What’s good yall! 🤟❤️
OOS: How would you describe your dance style?
I teach Intermediate choreography with tasteful musicality, inspired by various Hip Hop and street styles.
OOS: What are your dance goals as a mentor?
My goal is to be one of the best dance instructors in the bay has to offer
OOS: What will your students learn or experience in your class?
My class will provide you to learn to listen to music differently, understand what’s it like to push in classes while doing your best to stay optimistic, and establish respectful class adaquates together. I teach with an intention assuming that most of my students look forward to learn more difficult dance classes, so I could introduce mechanics and ideas that usually aren’t broken down or introduced in intermediate classes due to time management and skills of students who don’t need intermediate movements to be taught again.
