“I started off breakdancing in my church when I was 13, joined my first choreography team called Young Skull Club in high school, danced for multiple adult teams such as Full Potential Dance Company and Academy of Villains, and now I dance full time!”

OOS: How would you describe your dance style?

I would describe my dance style as fluid. I consider my style to be very dependent on the music. I love to experiment with textures and musicality when I can, but I ultimately allow the feel of the music to guide my approach to the movement.

OOS: What are your dance goals as a mentor?

My main goal as a mentor and instructor is to provide a safe space for dancers to feel open enough to express themselves confidently, experiment with movement, and have fun in the process.

OOS: What will your students learn or experience in your class?

Students taking my class can expect an environment that embraces everyone’s individuality. I encourage everyone to celebrate and support each others uniqueness and I structure my classes in a way that stresses that.
