Schedule
Two focused sessions built to develop your movement quality and connection.
This day is all about the physical connection in our dance. We will focus on pathways and connections in our body, how we can mature the quality of movement in all areas, ways to enhance variation and perspective surrounding foundations, and pushing our bodies into new physical heights.
This will be accomplished via drills, creative exercises, partner work, and guided freestyling.
Day two is about the deeper connection, the emotional and energetic side of movement. Focus shifts to the music and the many thoughts, feelings, characteristics, and connection opportunities it presents.
We’ll guide students into active listening exercises, tone/tambor breakdowns within musicality, and how to transmute musical connection into storytelling, character work, and creativity.
