Improvisation

Adapt to new situations through dance.

Projection

Establish your own identity and personality.

Stage Presence

Build confidence, under the spotlight.

PURPOSE

“The main purpose of the K-Pop Dance TAG Course is to help dancers improve their process of learning k-pop dance covers and build them to become better performers. Throughout the course, the mentors will be providing students exercises, drills, and concepts in order to establish their very own stage presence through K-Pop culture and dance.

Starting from the beginning, students will be tackling a dance piece and will work their way up towards being stage-ready. Every session will be supplemented with topics such as understanding how to project and improvise through their performance.”

BACKGROUND

The On One K-Pop program made its debut with On One Studios on February 9th, 2018 with their first Cover Dance class, a class that allows fans and aspiring performers to honor and pay tribute to k-pop idols and the choreographers of their songs. For three years, the program continues to grow and diversify in a number of ways. K-Pop Choreo classes with original choreography were later added to provide a more in-depth approach to new dance concepts and styles. K-Pop dance videos and annual showcases such as “Open Floor” have also provided an opportunity for students to develop stage-focused skills with live performance experience. This led to more performance workshops, training workshops, teen classes, and seasonal dance film productions to serve all students looking to level up their dance training and stage presence. These projects are led by the mentors of the program alongside the regular students that attend the weekly classes, with aspirations to bridge and strengthen a new community together.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What skill level do I need to be to take a TAG course?

Required background for each TAG course will vary, though most courses are open to students of all levels. If you need further details or assistance, please reach out and consult with our front desk staff.

How big are classes sizes for TAG?

Class sizes will depend on the number of people signed up for a course. Class sizes may range from 3-10 people.

Can I take more than one TAG at a time?

Yes, as long as there is no schedule overlap among the courses you would like to sign up for, you can take more than one TAG course at a time. Each course will be individually charged the full amount.

What happens when I withdraw my enrollment during the TAG course?

The initial payment is non-refundable, however for any monthly payments already made, customers will be refunded for a prorated amount equivalent to the amount of any sessions beyond the time of withdrawal.

For example: A customer has paid the $180 initial payment and the first installment of $70. The customer only attended two sessions and has decided to withdraw from the course. This customer will receive a $35.00 refund.

Why is pricing different for monthly payments dependent on the number of students?

The number of students within each TAG course influences the amount of time each individual student will have with the mentor of the course. Thus, depending on the number of students enrolled in the course, the price will scale accordingly.
